Ugh. So, today started off wonderfully. House contract good, good procedure yesterday with news we had prayed for, good procedure this am that we had prayed for (which means NO surgery - double yay!). Then BAM our realtor called and said the people who were buying our house backed out. And the reason? They wanted closing and possession on the same day. We asked for 3 (heck, I'd even go for 24 hours!) days to do closing on June 3rd then be out by June 6th (which was the day they requested to move in) as our realtor recommended. This is how this real estate stuff usually works. There are closings that fall through, and you don't want to have your entire house loaded on the truck to go to the closing and have it fall through then move everything back in the house again. And yes, did you hear the closing dates? Which that means that we were giving them the 3 months they wanted before the closing. We were giving them 3 months and they couldn't give us 3 days. Maybe it's a blessing that it fell through 2 days after the fact rather than 2 months after the fact.
So, we are back to darn showings and wondering and waiting.
Oh Janna!! I would be so mad!! Prayers to you and your family. That's so unreasonable of them, but the Lord must have known they were flakes...and will give you the right buyer in due time. Hang in there!
