I hate rocks.

And the reason for the title.  I hate rocks!

Our yard is so bumpy.  Anyone who has mowed is (there were about 3 taking turns on moving day, then dad did it on a day when Randy was so sick and of course Randy) feels physically sick after they get done.  Not the relaxing mow that Randy was hoping for.  So... a few weeks ago they started the task of tearing it up so we can start from scratch.  Try #1 after less than an hour the tractor we rented broke.  Try #2  started off going well and got a ton done!  Yay.  So much in fact that my legs ached for days from picking up rocks.  Try #3 Randy had an entire day to do it and 30 min into it, tractor #2 broke.  Back on the tractor to get fixed.  As I write this Try #4 is happening.  After some major mishaps this morning it seems to be going better.  I'm ready to look out to my nice lush green grass again.  Soon.  Very soon.

Kaid was over ambitious and grabbed the biggest bucket she could find.  ;)

and Paul doing the real work!  We really can't thank him enough for all the hard work he's done to help Randy get the lawn nice.  Many hours on the road and tractor and fixing the tractors again and again.  THANK YOU!!!

Draw your attention to the large wagon filled with rocks.  This was only about 90 minutes into the pick up.  It went on for another 2 hours or so.  Yeah, not fun.  And I hate to think how many more are being dug up today.

Daddy's turn to drive... oh no wait. It's Kason, maybe that's why it broke?  He does have that knack of breaking everything he touches.

Oh yeah, and the lawn mower broke.  That is how BUMPY this lawn is.  Geesh.  Trying to fix it... then they gave up and took it to the shop.
