In many ways, 2010 wasn't what we had expected or hoped for. But isn't that what life is all about? You never know what is around the corner, and each years end leaves us hoping and wishing for certain things to happen. Sometimes they do, but like Jody said in her Christmas blog post, sometimes they don't. We never forget all we have to be thankful for - 2 beautiful, healthy, happy kids, a loving partner who sticks by you and loves you no matter the hardships you go through, amazing family - on both sides - who support and love us, and friends will be there no matter what. Thankfully year to year - that never changes! Now, that is what life is all about. Even with all we have to be thankful for each year ssometimes is hard to not get stuck up on the bumps along the way - that I guess is my New Years Resolution. To concentrate on what is here and now and not so much on what "could be" or "could have been."
So good riddance 2010 and we welcome 2011 with open arms. I wish all of you a wonderful new year filled with wonderful surprises and more of the good stuff in life we often over-look and take for granted. I really feel that 2011 will be much better for us that 2010!
