It's Beach time!! We decided this summer that we would head to see my little cousin, Leah and her hubby, Josh for our vacation. Unfortunately our flight benefits and flying stand-by almost didn't allow us to do this and made us lose a day there! I'll spare you ALL of the details but, after 4 bumped flights, one rental car from Tampa to Orlando (because that was as close as we could get), one car seat being whisked away to baggage claim on our short layover, one broken pair of nice flip flops, one $0.38 short on a toll road because we thought the "exact change" lane would take dollar bills when the toll was $1.00... lesson learned that means COIN change and the people behind you don't appreciate when you dig through the car to get as many coins as you can find, and one stomach sick hubby from being on another round of antibiotics in hopes of feeling better... yeah, all that makes for an interesting trip there!! Thankfully the trip and way home went smoothly!!
Kiddos ready to fly!
We got to take a trip to see Josh's ship when we got there! So good to see them and pretty awesome to see the ship!
Who's driving this ship?
Telling us all about the ship.
Boys and their toys... they loved seeing the engines!
And guess who loves the water again?? Did I ever tell the story of Kason's "near drowning" or so he thought. At mimi and pops pool, he forgot he didn't have his water wings on (we've been trying to get him to take them off so he can learn to swim and he refuses!) and jumped in. Had he put his feet down he could touch, but he wouldn't even attempt, so mommy pulled him out and "saved" the day.
He did NOT hesitate in the ocean at all. Loved it!
Miss Kaid had a little cut on her foot that hurt the first time she got in the ocean so she pouted the first hour we were there. Oh my!
Hi buddy!
I'm gonna get ya! He loves chasing the birds!
Randy and Josh go for a dip
Life is good again!
Josh and Leah getting a dose of "good birth control" :)
Kason's new buddy!
Hey, where'd my head go?
This one is a little more proportioned :) That head just won't stay on my shoulders!
Trapped like little bugs!
LOOK! We caught lizards! (Kason actually caught one of them!)
He had no fear of them until he got bit! OUCH!
Hi little guy
