Three lives - united

We were just a little excited for the weekend!  Randy's bud Steve got married and he was the best man.  My mom came to the rescue and watched the kids for 4 days (mostly at our house since Kaid had school).  It was wonderful to get away - just the two of us, while knowing the kids wouldn't even mind us being gone while spending the days with Mimi!  We left on Wednesday afternoon and spent the evening with Steve and Rebecca.  We wish they wouldn't live 3 1/2 hours away or this would be a routine occurrence!  Thursday morning we got up and headed the 35 minutes to my friend Beth's house (those pictures will come in a bit.. :)  then over to the Hotel where we were meeting Steve, Rebecca, Jacob and the rest of the wedding party.  Getting ready to go to the Rehearsal dinner.

I must not be too bad if he's gonna let Steve get into this marriage thing too.  ;)

Beautiful bride and groom!

The guys the morning of the wedding....

I love it that their friendship has stayed strong even living a state away.

Rebecca's son Jacob was so excited for the day!  I love watching the relationship he and Steve have.

Jacob presents.... the groomsmen and his soon to be step-dad

yep... the hubby

Lets go have some fun at a wedding, okay?  Not sure why I put my neck out like a turtle.

Waiting for the bride

Steve's sister Julie asked if I would watch little Oliver during the wedding.  He was wonderful thanks for a fun car to sit in and a happy meal and giggled through the ceremony.

Here comes the bride!  Doesn't it always seem like within the 2 weeks before a wedding something happens to one of the parents?  Rebecca's dad had to have surgery 2 days before the wedding and thankfully was feeling up to the celebration.

And quiet the tear jerker... Rebecca's dad is an elder in their church and was able to say a few words and do the vows for their wedding.

Steve, Rebecca, and Jacob in the "sand ceremony" which is like the unity candle.

Mr and Mrs!

Randy was so nervous about the best man speech but if I do say so myself, he nailed it!

We are so blessed to have such wonderful friends.  We love you Steve and Rebecca and wish you a long and happy marriage.

Steve and Randy's friend from work Yared and his son.  Gabe was HILARIOUS!  He was tearing up the dance floor all night.  This kid's got moves!!
