Wow - we are one beautiful family, aren't we?! Randy got a fun app on his phone and we have laughed so hard over all the picture distortions we have made!
We went down town for our towns Christmas parade. It was so nice out for being December! I know so many are complaining about the weather, but I will take this ANY DAY over snow!!
And SANTA!
He didn't look over at the kids until Kason yelled "HEEEEYYYA!" then he finally turned around and waved to them. They were so happy!
Leah was home for a little while while her new hubby was off at sea so we had our family get-together. Miss not being close to all these girls. Miss them so much!
Have you ever seen a pizza that big before?? Yep, perfect to feed this hungry crew!
Miss Alexandria has changed so much in the past 3 weeks. She's so awake and alert! I can't wait to see smiles by Christmas!
Thanks Aunt Bethy and Brian for the jammies! The kids LOVE them. I'm surprised we ever got Kason's Tow-Mater jammies off of him!
Me and my little sisters :)
The crew - Kason, Me & a not feeling well Kaid
Meggy, Avery and Emmy
A not happy Clay for getting beat by a girl at pool & Krista
Leah holding baby Alex (doesn't she look good with a baby in her arms... so much for the 5 year plan right newly wed? haha)
And Josh and Jody
Aunt Beth, Uncle Brian, Mom and dad think they are too old to be in the picture evidently. It was only allowed to be 45 and under.
Oh there is nothing as great as home ownership, isn't there? Really, it is a dream come true owning this beautiful home but all the fixes that come along with it. UGH. Especially when it's something that was never disclosed to us when we bought the house. Evidently the leaking we are having was not due to the hail or wind as we thought it was. It was a previous issue that the previous owners did a poor job of a self fix job and did not disclose to us... again. I can only hope that they had no clue that there we all these issues with the house but I have a hard time believing that. So, what the leaks are evidently coming from... either a shotty job putting roof on to begin with and someone tried to put more nails (possibly too long) in the shingles then realized there were multiple leaks so did a bad caulk job from the inside (not with roofers sealant on the outside like it should have been done) to attempt to "fix" it. Just makes me irritated. At least if they had disclosed it to us before hand we would have known what we were getting into. We are PRAYING that it can be just a fix and not have to pay for a whole new roof. Insurance will not pay for it since it was not something that was done by weather.
Randy up trying to see if he can seal some of the holes the CORRECT way... without falling off this steep roof!
